Representatives of local and regional self-government units, public companies in charge of communal infrastructure and waste management, fire/emergency services, public social service providers, etc. were invited.

Similar to the firs Info day, in the first part of the meeting participants were informed in detail about the IPA Cross-border Programme Croatia-Montenegro with a focus on measures under which they can apply. In the following meeting after the presentation of past and present experiences in the preparation, writing and implementation of projects, participations exchanged project ideas which would only need to be implemented.

As on the first Info day, several of participants met their potential project partners. The meeting was rated as very successful and useful.

In the premises of the Joint Technical Secretariat of IPA Cross-border Programme Croatia- Montenegro, on June 30^th 2010, was held the first in a series of five planned Info days. These meetings are organized in order to inform and prepare potential applicants before the launching of the second Call for proposals.

Participants were institutions from the field of tourism within the program area in Montenegro and Croatia. In the first part of the meeting the participants were informed about the IPA Programme Croatia-Montenegro with a focus on measures under which they can apply. In the following meeting after the presentation of past and present experiences in the preparation, writing and implementation of projects the participations exchanged project ideas which would only need to be implemented.

Providing the upcoming launch of the second Call of Proposal, and that is one of the most important preconditions for the eligibility of projects forming strategic partnerships between partners on both sides of the boarder, JTS with the support of Operation structures of both countries organized a second Forum to establish project partnerships and exchange projects ideas under IPA Cross-Border Programme Croatia-Montenegro, 2007-2013.

Forum held on 16th June 2010 in the premises of the University of Dubrovnik. Similar to the previous Forum held in Igalo, this was organized into two sessions: the first, in which attendees were welcomed by the representatives of the Operating Structure and the Joint Technical Secretariat, and during which they presented project principles of partnership, and Instruction standard form for applicants, and the second, in which participants are enabled to participate in thematic workshops of special interests to them.

Workshop topics were in compliance with the measures of the Programme, and participants had the opportunity to participate in one of the following workshops:

-          Joint actions for environment, nature and cultural heritage protection
-          Joint tourism and cultural space
-          Small cross-border community development projects

More than 90 representatives of municipalities, NGOs, utility companies, educational, cultural, health and other institutions and organizations had the opportunity to exchange their own project ideas with participants from other states and thus form a partnership before the announcement of the second Call for proposals. A large number of contacts have been established, and some of them find project partners, which was the main goal of the Forum.

We are pleased to inform you that new colleague Danijela Đurić started to work in JTS antenna in Dubrovnik on 15th June2010. The office is placed at the premises of DUNEA in Branitelja Dubrovnika Street no. 41. We are sure that she will contribute to more efficient work of JTS and to help in providing all potential applicants with updated information.
