Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration organizes Fair of the cross-border and transnational cooperation projects, to the occasion of the celebration of European cooperation day, on Friday, September 19 2014, in Delta City in Podgorica.

European Day of cooperation celebrate for the third time throughout Europe on September 21 and during  the previous and following weeks, to celebrate the achievements of more than 20 years of territorial cooperation in Europe and the region, as well as the results of cross-border cooperation in the region.

Various events will be held  in more than thirty countries in Europe such as film festivals, cross-border  tours, bicycle races, fairs etc. This campaign of the projects coordinate  INTERACT program with the support of the European Commission, the European Parliament and the Committee of the Region.

The objective of organising  the Fair of projects is  presentation of the results of projects that have been implemented in Montenegro through of cross-border programs, neighbourly programs and transnational cooperation. Participants  represent bilateral, neighbourly and transnational projects (state institutions, local governments and non-governmental organizations), as well as the Embassy of European countries.

The Fair will be opened  from 10 am to 5 pm and the State secretary for European Integration Ambassador Aleksandar Andrija Pejović and Head of Operations of Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro Andre Lys will held welcome  speeches at 1:30 pm.

To the CBIB Plus (Cross-border Institution Building) website can be found  the section „Projects - best practices" , database which offers a selection of best practice examples of territorial cooperation as a demonstration of results achieved and a source of reference for the design of future projects.

„The examples are drawn from the Western Balkans Region and other European countries, and cover different thematic areas and types of projects. It should be noted that projects such as those illustrated in this database may not necessarily meet all the requirements of future calls for proposals under IPA cross-border programmes."
