Opening Ceremony for the first Call for proposals

On August 25th 2009, at the "Queen of Montenegro" Hotel in Bečići, Montenegro, took place the Opening Ceremony of the first Call for proposals in the frame of the IPA Cross-Border Programme Croatia - Montenegro.The Ceremony was organized by the Ministry for European Integration of Montenegro and the Ministry of Regional Development, Forestry and Water Management of Republic of Croatia.
On this occasion, a meeting between the Minister for European Integration of Montenegro, prof. dr Gordana Đurovic and the State Secretary for Regional Development, Forestry and Water Management of Republic of Croatia, Mr. Karlo Gjurašić took place.

The Ceremony was attended also by the Head of Operations at the Delegation of the European Commission to Montenegro Nicola Bertolini; the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia in Montenegro Petar Turčinović; the Head of Sector for Integrated Regional Development at the Ministry of Regional Development, Forestry and Water Management of Republic of Croatia Marija Rajaković, and Mayor of Budva Municipality, Rajko Kuljača.

The National Coordinator for IPA Cross Border Programme Croatia - Montenegro at the Ministry for European Integration of Montenegro Darko Kasalica presented background information about the Programme, and Sanja Todorović the Head of Joint Technical Secretariat of the Programme announced specific details of the first Call for proposals. The participants had an opportunity to view some video clips of success stories in cross-border cooperation from the region. The Opening Ceremony closed with a session for questions and answers regarding the Programme and the Call.

FIRST CALL FOR PROPOSALS LAUNCHED

First call for proposals has been published on
August 21st, 2009

The Ministry of Regional Development, Forestry and Water Management of Croatia and the Delegation of the European commission to Montenegro in cooperation with the Ministry for European Integration of Montenegro launched the First Call for proposals in the frame of the IPA Cross-Border Programme Croatia - Montenegro.
The deadline for submission of the proposals is November 18th, 2009.

The Application package could be found on the Programme web site www.cbccro-mne.org, web-sites of the operating structures of both countries: www.mei.gov.me and www.mrrsvg.hr, forum web-site www.cbc-mne.org as well as on the web site of the European Commission: www.ec.europa.eu/europeaid/work/funding/index_en.htm.

Potential applicants can pose questions regarding this Call to the Programme's JTS-Joint Technical Secretariat. The questions must be written in English and sent by e-mail to: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or to the fax: +382 (0)32 322 215. They should be sent not later than 21 days before the deadline for submission of the proposals. The Call references should be clearly noted. The answers will be published not later than 11 days before the deadline for submission of the proposals on the web sites mentioned above within the link FAQ - Frequently asked questions.

On the occasion of launching the first Call for Proposals under the IPA Cross-Border Programme Croatia - Montenegro 2007-2013, the Joint Technical Secretariat of this Programme will organise the Information sessions.
The purpose of the Information sessions is to present specific details about the first Call for Proposals - Guidelines for Applicants, Logical Framework Matrix, Application Form and Budget and to provide necessary instructions for the completing of these essential documents.

The information sessions are organized by the Joint Technical Secretariat with the support of the Ministry of Regional Development, Forestry and Water Management of Republic of Croatia and the Ministry for European Integration of Montenegro.

Information sessions will be held on the following dates and take place at the following locations:

Kotor
, Palata Bizanti, Hall of Kotor Municipality, Kotor Old Town, 31.08.2009. at 10:00 hours;
Bar, Small Hall of Bar Municipality, Bulevar revolucije 1, 03.09.2009. at 10:00 hours;
Dubrovnik
