The last Info day held

The last Info day before launching the Second Call for Proposals was held in the premises of the JTS in Kotor on the 23th September 2010. Representatives of organizations and institutions of culture were invited.

Similar to the previous Info days, in the first part of the meeting participants were informed in detail about the IPA Cross-border Programme Croatia-Montenegro with a focus on measure under which they can apply.



After the presentation of the Programme, constructive conversation was developed between the participants about previous experience in preparation and implementation of the projects. Some very interesting project ideas were presented. JTS staff answered several of questions regarding budgeting, eligibility of applicants, partners, costs, activities, implementation process etc.

During this meeting participants established direct contact and agreed about future cooperation. They rated as well this kind of meeting as very useful.

PCM workshop held in Dubrovnik

In the preparation for the announcement of the second Call for proposals, the Joint Technical Secretariat, with the support of the Ministry of Regional Development Forestry and Water Management of Republic of Croatia and the Ministry for European Integration of Montenegro, organized training on Project Cycle Management for potential applicants from Croatia and Montenegro.

The training held in Dubrovnik on 14th and 15th September 2010. The aim of this two-day training was to provide to the trainees all the necessary elements and information needed in order to be able to understand the grant preparation process, cross -border partnerships and project development process according to the logical framework approach.

The training was attended by more than 20 representatives of the Local municipalities, NGOs, Educational institutions, Developments agencies and other institutions from Croatia and Montenegro.

The course was evaluated extremely positively by the participants and they consider that they have improved their knowledge and learned a lot.

 
Fourth Info day held

The fourth Info day out of five planned was held in the premises of the JTS in Kotor on the 08th September 2010. Representatives of educational organizations and institutions were invited.

Similar to the previous Info days, in the first part of the meeting participants were informed in detail about the IPA Cross-border Programme Croatia-Montenegro with a focus on measure under which they can apply.

Three Info days held in Croatia

Joint Technical Secretariat in cooperation with the operating structures of the programme, the Ministry for European Integration of Montenegro and the Ministry of Regional Development, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of Croatia, held three Info days in Croatia:

31 August 2010           in Korčula at City hall
01 September 2010      in Metković at City hall
02 September 2010      in Dubrovnik at premises of DUNEA

Representatives of eligible institutions and organizations from Croatia and Montenegro within the second Call for proposals were invited to those meetings.

Similar to the Info days held in Kotor, presentation of the Programme was done in the first part of the meeting after the welcoming speeches. Special attention was given to the eligibility of the actions per measure, eligibility of the applicants, size of grants as well as basic characteristics of the first Call.

Following the meeting the participants presented their organizations and institutions, their experience in preparing project proposals as well as their project ideas. Representatives of potential applicants who applied project proposals within the first Call were present in all three meetings. Their experience was very valuable for all the other participants.JTS staff answered several of questions regarding budgeting, eligibility of applicants, partners, costs, activities, implementation process etc. during discussion. During those meetings participants established direct contact and agreed about future cooperation. They rated this Info days as very useful and rich in clear and precise information.
