On May 20th, 2009, an informational meeting was organized at the premises of Kotor Municipality by the Joint Technical Secretariat (JTS) of the IPA CBC Programme Croatia - Montenegro, in cooperation with the Secretariat for European Integration (SEI), and together with representatives of educational institutions from Montenegro, based in the eligible programme area. The aim of this meeting was not only to inform such institutions more about the IPA cross-border programmes and to promote the sharing of experiences in project implementation, but also to discuss future project ideas.
Sanja Todorović, Head of the JTS and Darko Kasalica, representative of the SEI gave their introductory remarks and announced that the next Partner Search Forum would be held on June 3rd 2009 in Dubrovnik, Croatia. They also informed participants that free transportation to Dubrovnik would be organized for the participants of the Forum. Biljana Vujanić, Financial Officer at the JTS outlined the IPA CBC Programme Croatia - Montenegro, focusing upon the programme area, strategic aims, main priorities and specific measures of the programme, direct beneficiaries, eligible activities and grant amounts. She also explained the programme's specificities and presented a practical example of a successfully implemented cross-border cooperation project.

Meeting with representatives of educational institutions from the Croatian side of the eligible program area will take part on May 26th 2009, at 13.00 h in Dubrovnik, in the premises of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County Regional Development Agency (DUNEA), Branitelja Dubrovnika 41. The meeting is organized by the Joint Technical Secretariat (JTS) and its Antenna in Dubrovnik. Representatives from all elementary, high and music schools from the County are invited.
The aim of the meeting is to inform in more details the participants about the IPA cross-border programs and to encourage them to share experiences in project implementation, as well as to discuss about project ideas. JTS already organized complementary meeting with the Montenegrin educational institutions from the eligible area. |

On Wednesday, May 20th 2009, starting at 12.00h in the Kotor Municipality Hall (the Bizanti Palace), the Joint Technical Secretariat (JTS)will have a meeting with representatives of the Montenegrin educational organizations operating in the Programme's eligible aria. JTS will organize the same kind of meeting in Dubrovnik next week and will additionally inform about the details.
Representatives from elementary and high schools, faculties, institutes etc. will take part at the meeting, which aims to better inform them about the IPA programmes and to open a discussion about the previous experience in projects implementation and project ideas. |

Meeting of the tourist organizations representatives |

 The Joint Technical Secretariat (JTS) hosted the meeting of tourist organizations (TO) from the eligible program area of the IPA Cross border program Croatia-Montenegro, hold on April 28 th 2009. Beside the JTS staff, the representative of the Secretariat for European integration of Montenegro, Mr. Darko Kasalica also joined the meeting.
After presentation of the Program and the other IPA cross border and transnational programs, special attention was given to the Measure 1.2. Joint touristic and cultural space, in the frame of which the touristic organizations could apply with project proposals. The participants of the meeting briefly presented their project ideas and discussed the progress of searching partners from the other side of the border.
TO representatives consider that there are similar problems in the area of tourism in both countries and that projects supported by this program could solve some of them.
