On 13 December 2010 at the "Queen of Montenegro" Hotel in Bečići, took place the Grant Award Ceremony officially promoting grant awarded project proposals submitted under the 1st CfP in the frame of the IPA CBP Croatia - Montenegro.
The audience was greeted by Mrs. Gordana Đurović, Minister for European Integration of Montenegro; Mr. Ivo Žinić, Director of Directorate for integrated regional development in the Ministry of Regional Development, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of Croatia; Mr. Leopold Maurer, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro; Mrs. Stella Arneri, Secretary of the Agency for Regional Development of the Republic of Croatia.
Mrs. Biljana Vujanić, Task manager in the Joint Technical Secretariat (JTS), presented the results of the evaluation of project proposals submitted within the 1st CfP under IPA Cross-Border Programme Croatia-Montenegro.
Mrs. Zore Domes, Task manager in the Joint Technical Secretariat of the Programme presented summaries of the selected project proposals submitted within the 1st CfP.
The Inauguration Ceremony was closed with a session for questions and answers regarding the selected projects proposals.
The First Call was open from 21 August to 18 November 2009. It was launched by the Ministry of Regional Development, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of Croatia and the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro in cooperation with the Ministry for European Integration of Montenegro.
  Selected projects will be financed from the European Union funds (IPA budget allocation for the Cross-Border Programme Croatia-Montenegro for 2007 and 2008). The total funds available under this Call were 1,620,000 €, out of which 720,000 € was for Croatia and 900,000 € for Montenegro.
Twenty four project proposals were submitted within this Call out of which five projects are grant awarded. Total value of all selected projects is 1,861,510.49 €, out of which 1,503,160.59 € are EU grants. Projects are based upon the principle of a partnership of the organizations from Croatia and Montenegro and four of them are related to the measure of the Programme: Joint tourism and cultural space, while the one project is related to Small cross-border community development projects.
